About The Site

What’s Restos in TO?

For all intents and purposes, the site is designed for you to read up on where to go eat in Toronto. If you’re like me, one review is usually not enough to decide whether or not to try out somewhere. I’m hoping this page will act as both a supplement to your decision making and an outlet for your feedback.

Want To Be Reviewed?

I’m always looking for new places to add to the reviews archive. To date, Restos in TO has earned more than 20,000 pageviews, 12,700+ visits and an average time on home page of 4+ minutes. I’d love for your restaurant to get some eyes on it.

If you’d like to request an anonymous visit, I would be more than glad to sample your menu. You can reach out at restosinto@gmail.com.

The Ratings in a Nutshell:

Definitely not going back. Food either tasted bad or really over-promised. Really bad service could be another symptom.

Might go back, but only out of convenience. The food wasn’t bad, but also wasn’t interesting. Some service slip-ups would also land a restaurant here.

Would recommend it to others. The food was well-executed and interesting, but not amazing. Service was enjoyable.

Rave about this place to everyone. Food was near flawless (new flavours, technically impressive or addictive) and service was memorable.

Who Am I?

My name’s Jacob. I’m young and by no means the most informed food mind I know. I pride myself on giving readers an honest, succinct, and informative review. I have a bias for the unique, the whimsical, and the new, but I can be suckered into salivating over a killer fish and chips if you do it right.

Thanks for reading and enjoy what I churn out.

Cheers!
